INSB has announced with pleasure its authorization from the "Kiribati Ship Registry-KSR" for surveys and issuance of respective certificates for vessels flying or intended to be registered under Kiribati flag. The authorization is in force since 21 June 2012.

Note: For vessels to enter under Kiribati flag, the "Kiribati Ship Registry-KSR" has adopted a policy of up to 25 years of age when intended to be classed/statutory certified by a Non-IACS society. Vessels of 25+years of age should be technically monitored by an IACS society.
